Translator - Chuj

Overview

The Work :

The Translator will provide translation services for individuals with a language barrier. Translation will consist of but not limited to education, legal, medical, environmental, and social services, etc.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

• Accurately translates spoken work situations like lectures, conversations, and meetings.
• Utilizes technology to transcribe spoken English in some settings.
• Reads an original document and translates it into the language required.
• Edits translated versions.
• Must be sensitive to the culture of the original languages and the target languages during the translation process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

USD $65.00 - USD $80.00 / Hr.
