Description
The Early College Opportunities (ECO) Coordinator is responsible for the initial outreach of students participating in dual credit activities, the department's promotional events, and efforts for increasing matriculation of dual credit students to the College post high school graduation.

- Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders to further the Early College Opportunities and WCTC brand, including internal staff, high school staff, and industry partners
- Be the main office representative for internal and external presentations for ECO programming
- Lead marketing and outreach efforts of ECO options to parents, students, and partnering K-12 districts including :
Planning and executing Dual Enrollment Academy Information Nights, orientations and end of year celebrations
Excelerate & Start College Now virtual evening eventsProduce e-newsletter for ECO families and school counselorsEvaluate department and college needs to adjust or add events as needed to reach goalsPartner with recruitment to provide post-high school enrollment support to current dual credit studentsServe as the ECO liaison to Student Affairs to ensure collaboration and streamlining of processesServe as primary dual credit contact for home school families and private school studentsMinimum Qualifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Knowledge and skill in public relations, event planning, and the promotion of educational programmingKnowledge of project proposal developmentE?ective interpersonal communication skills - oral, written and listening, with application in group facilitation and presentationIntermediate level of pro?ciency with computer software applications such as design programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.Ability to independently manage time and organize workAbility to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal (sta?, management, personnel) and external contacts (clients and vendors) working with individuals from diverse backgroundsAbility to collect and analyze data and prepare reportsAbility to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work processesAbility to work independently, as part of a team and / or with minimal supervisionEDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in marketing, education, or related fieldTwo (2) years of event planning experienceTwo (2) years of experience managing or coordinating complex programming that serves multiple constituentsSupplemental Information
The Early College Opportunities Coordinator supports the Early College Opportunities department and is available to start in January 2026.
This position is a full-time 40 hours per / week position.
Typical hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
