Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of the highest quality patient care services.

Will assist Occupational Therapist in all aspects of patient care related to occupational therapy.

Will interact with physicians directly as related to patient care issues.

Experience Required

Completion of student related affiliations as per academic setting.

0-2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Adult rehabilitation in acute care and / or outpatient preferred but not required.

Education Requirements

Associate's degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

License / Certification Requirements

Current NJ-OTA - NJ Occupational Therapist Assistant license required.

BLS required.

Special Requirements

Demonstrates initiative, originality, resourcefulness, and good judgment for devising treatment techniques, adaptive devices and completing all assigned duties.

Salary

USD $28.00 - USD $46.00
