Position Overview

We are seeking a per diem, part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for neuro rehabilitation and communication therapy. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapy targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing safety
  • Document patient progress and maintain billing accuracy compliant with regulations
  • Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Michigan SLP license required
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in neuro rehabilitation preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Schedule & Benefits
