Pay : $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary :

Performs training, competency assessment, and regulatory oversight for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived and moderate-complexity testing. This position supports system activity.

Responsibilities :

• Acts as a technical consultant by demonstrating technical and professional ability to oversee waived and moderate complexity testing procedures as defined by CLIA.
• Maintains CLIA licensure and inspection readiness for each laboratory location.
• Provides education, training, and competency assessment, as needed, at each laboratory location. Trains staff and performs competency assessment for CLIA waived and moderate-complexity testing as governed by regulation.
• Assists with instrument and testing issues at each laboratory location. Recognizes testing issues and find solutions. Writes testing procedures. Assists with instrument troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
