Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Outpatient Clinic / Hospital Start Date : 1 / 1 / 2026 - Ongoing Schedule : Predominantly night shifts : 11 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM (occasionally until 7 : 00 AM) Optional day shifts : 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 PM Flexible scheduling with opportunities for 2-3 providers to share coverage Goal of filling 30 shifts per month (out of 42 total shifts available) Patient Population : All Ages Location : Medford, Oregon Rate : $270 / hour Stipends : Lodging and travel reimbursement can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume department ( annual volume of 37,000 patients ) Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently Collaborate with support services such as anesthesia, general surgery, lab, and radiology available 24 / 7 Qualifications Licensed to practice in Oregon Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Emergency Medicine ATLS certification required Providers must return RFA within 48-72 hours and applications within 5 days to ensure timely start after privileging Minimum of 90 days for credentialing Working Hours Predominantly night shifts : 11 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM Occasional extended shifts ending closer to 7 : 00 AM Optional 12-hour day shifts : 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 PM Shorter shifts may be discussed, but preference is full-night shift coverage Skills Strong clinical skills in managing a wide range of emergency situations Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with a patient-focused approach
