Shift : 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule : Full-time

Weekly Hours : 40.00

Job Summary

As an MDS Nurse , you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the activities of our professional nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Evaluating care provided to each resident and keeping care plans current
  • Leading the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process
  • Assisting in the assessment and evaluation of potential admissions
  • Completing resident assessments upon admission, quarterly, and annually
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure the best quality of life for each resident
  • When functioning on the floor, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, demonstrating your expertise in :

  • Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes / planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Coordinating care, resident assessment, and education
  • Serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks appropriately
  • Qualifications

  • Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) accredited nursing program preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed nurse with the senior population preferred
  • Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) and supervisory experience preferred
  • Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
  • Commitment to obtaining and maintaining required certifications and continuing education
  • Affiliation with a professional nursing organization preferred
