Shift : 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule : Full-time

Job Summary

As an MDS Nurse , you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the activities of our professional nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include :

Evaluating care provided to each resident and keeping care plans current

Leading the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process

Assisting in the assessment and evaluation of potential admissions

Completing resident assessments upon admission, quarterly, and annually

Collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure the best quality of life for each resident

When functioning on the floor, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, demonstrating your expertise in :

Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes / planning, implementation, and evaluation

Coordinating care, resident assessment, and education

Serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks appropriately

Qualifications

Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) accredited nursing program preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred

Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed nurse with the senior population preferred

Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) and supervisory experience preferred

Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing

Commitment to obtaining and maintaining required certifications and continuing education

Affiliation with a professional nursing organization preferred
