About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience :

• Must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in the operating room.
• Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• Strong scrub and circulate skills.
• Preferred experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, General Surgery.
• Additional preferred experience in Neurosurgery, Open Heart / Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology.

Description :

The operating room nurse will work in a dynamic surgical environment.

The position requires expertise in both scrub and circulatory roles.

Candidates must be available for call requirements, which include one 12-hour shift a month on weekends.

Every other weekend commitment is necessary.

Requests for time off must be limited to 5 days maximum with no more than 2 consecutive days.

No time off will be allowed on holidays or the weekends preceding or following a holiday.

There is a mandatory floating policy; clinicians may be asked to float to different units within 50 miles.

Refusal to float may lead to cancellation of the contract.

Additional compliance requirements will be communicated during the hiring process.

The candidate will need to provide proof of vaccinations as required prior to commencing the role.
