Responsibilities Provide care in a home health setting for pediatric patients, from newborns through young adults Service areas include Baltimore County, PG County, Montgomery County, Southern Howard County, and selected areas of Washington, DC Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM Focus on skilled nursing and infusion services, including placement of peripheral IVs and care of central venous access devices Use of Epic for documentation and charting Responsible for providing, coordinating, teaching, and supervising care to patients in their homes Must be able to effectively teach and communicate with diverse families and individuals Role requires compliance with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use while on duty Local candidates are eligible; specific radius rules may apply for certain counties Must have previous experience working in facilities with 500 bed counts Requirements Active Maryland RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 3 years of pediatric nursing experience in an infusion suite / clinic, ED, or PICU Strong infusion skills with ability to place PIVs for all pediatric age groups Experience with central lines including PICCs, Infusaports, and Hickman devices Experience administering pediatric infusions such as IVIG, Remicade, and Entyvio Epic EMR experience required Valid Maryland driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624421.
