Security Professional - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Professional in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site-specific procedures and security-related inquiries.Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to identify and report irregular activity within the chemical or petrochemical environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific policies.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to established procedures.Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as mandated by the client.A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
