As a Security Professional in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $12.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 04 : 00 PM - 04 : 00 AM

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 04 : 00 AM

Wed 04 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 04 : 00 PM - 04 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site-specific procedures and security-related inquiries.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to identify and report irregular activity within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as mandated by the client.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
