We are currently seeking a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Surgical Oncology APP to join our thriving and innovative team in Gainesville, GA . Practice Overview :

  • Independent inpatient and outpatient evaluation of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and Surgical Oncology patients
  • Coordination of patient care with multi-disciplinary team (i.e. Medical Oncology, Gastroenterology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Interventional Radiology)
  • Intra-operative first assist role : Laparoscopic, Robotic, and Open
  • Participation in Graduate Medical Education with General Surgery residents and medical students
  • Round daily at the hospital and be available for inpatient consults. Communicate with Surgeons on consults and coordination of care as appropriate
  • Outpatient clinic (AM and PM) two days per week.
  • Call would be one weekend per month, no weekdays.
  • EMR Platform (both IP and OP) is Epic
  • Collaborate with physicians, ultrasound technologists, and support staff to optimize clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in phlebology and minimally invasive vein treatments.

    • Working together with Advanced Practitioners like you :

  • Acute Care Certified Licensed Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
  • ACNP / AGACNP or PA candidates with 1-3 years of clinical experience as an APP required
  • Inpatient and general surgery experience to include Surgical Assist
  • Passion for quality and patient care
  • Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives
