Position Summary :
As a Behavioral Health Intake Nurse Coordinator, you will provide exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process while supporting unit coordination efforts aimed at achieving safe and high-quality outcomes. You will be a vital resource for staff, assisting in scheduling, education, and performance initiatives.
Essential Functions :
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Licensure / Certifications : Current RN license in the state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred. Skills : Strong critical thinking, decisive judgement, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in navigating multiple clinical software systems is essential. Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) are required. Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
