Location : These positions are on-site and located at the NDOL Administrative Building at 550 South 16th St, Lincoln Work Schedule : 8am - 5pm; Monday - Friday
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : Post high-school coursework / training in math, composition and / or use of computer equipment, OR experience in fact finding / interviewing, customer service including answering inquiries, explaining procedures or experience in customer service or call center.
Preferred Qualifications : Experience adjudicating unemployment insurance claims; experience using current benefit payment system in NEworks. Proficient computer and typing skills are necessary.
Knowledge of : Nebraska Employment Security Law.
Skilled in : Interviewing clients, employers or other parties of interest to collect essential information; basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry; organizing in high workload, high stress situations.
Ability to : meet all timeliness and time lapse requirements according to Federal guidelines; effectively communicate via the telephone; specialize in decision making within the capacity of Nebraska Employment Security Law; maintain regular and reliable attendance.
