The Role The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of our social media and community engagement strategies. This role is responsible for establishing a cohesive social vision, managing day-to-day channel activity, and cultivating meaningful relationships with audiences across both owned and external platforms.

Day in the Life Define and execute the overall social media and community strategy aligned with business goals.

Manage daily operations of core channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), ensuring consistent voice, tone, and cadence.

Develop and implement a social content strategy that balances brand storytelling, campaign activation, and community engagement.

Own community management : listen, respond, and engage across managed properties as well as external channels (e.g., Yelp, Reddit, forums, review platforms).

Monitor and report on social performance, surfacing insights and opportunities for growth.

Partner with marketing leadership to integrate social into the broader digital ecosystem (web, email, paid media, events).

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on content creation, campaign execution, and channel innovation.

Oversee paid social campaigns from planning to optimization, ensuring efficiency and measurable ROI.

What You’ll Need 4–7 years of experience in social media / community management with demonstrated impact.

Experience managing paid social campaigns across platforms.

Background in content strategy and cross-channel storytelling.

Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform insights).

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
