About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : Mix of 7a-7p and 11a-11p, 36 hours / week

Experience : Minimum 1.5 years in pediatrics

License : Active RN License

Certifications : PALS, TNCC, BLS

Must-Have :

• Proficiency with drips, IV administration, and titrations
• Respiratory care experience
• Tele strip reading experience
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• All relevant certifications active

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

Qualified candidates should expect to receive a call from a specific area code.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute nursing knowledge and skills.

Your work will involve the provision and management of care to pediatric patients.

You will apply the nursing process in your daily responsibilities.

Patient types in this unit include all categories of pediatric emergencies.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4.

The unit has a bed size of 12.

You will be required to work holidays, specifically two out of three major winter holidays.

Limitations exist on days off requested around specific holiday periods.

Having an up-to-date skills checklist completed within the past year is necessary.

References, including a supervisory performance evaluation from the past two years, will be required.

Proof of a taxable address will need to be provided for compliance with local policies.
