Maintenance Tech : Job Summary :

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives. Works under general supervision.

Requirements :

• Ability to read document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisor and co-workers.
• Knowledge of general computer programs including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the Internet.
• Ability to operate office equipment including fax machine, telephone, copier and postage meter.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills required.
• Competent with more advanced maintenance and repairs.
• High school diploma or Ged and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• 2 plus years of manufacturing experience.
