Our Opportunity

Exponent is looking for a Graphic Designer in

Oakland, CA

to create thoughtfully and impeccably designed visual communications across print, digital, and presentation platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring Exponent brand concepts to life.

You will be responsible for

Developing social media campaigns & digital assets that engage audiences

Creating print & event collateral (brochures, signage, posters, banners, marketing materials)

Designing logos, info graphics and brand assets for campaigns and initiatives

Designing PowerPoint presentations that are visually compelling and brand-aligned

Formatting headshots for digital and collateral

Partnering with business development, marketing, digital, content, and events teams to execute fresh, new campaigns and graphics

Managing multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and brand consistency are met

Asset Management

You will have the following skills and qualifications

5-7 years

ofprofessional design experience (corporate or agency)

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design

Strong portfolio showcasing print, digital, infographics, and logos, demonstrating excellence in typography, composition, and conceptual skills

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Acrobat)

Video and motion graphics area plus (Premiere Rush, Premiere Pro, After Effects)

Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Office tools

AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, and Adobe Firefly

This is an Oakland, CA based position. The successful applicant must live (or be willing to relocate) in the San Francisco Bay Area and be enthusiastic about regularly working in the office

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
