Overview
As an Automotive Service Technician at Wynne Ford in Hampton, VA, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards
- Clearly write and communicate needed repairs / maintenance, and the parts and time needed to repair
- Repair broken or worn mechanical and technological components
- Maintain repair and service records
- Install equipment, components, and systems
- Test vehicles both before and after repair
- Repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures
- Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications
Requirements
Previous experience as a service technician; A-B Level tech requiredMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalentWorking knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A / C equipment, etc.Must provide own toolsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license and an acceptable DMV record requiredBenefits
