Position : Clinical Laboratory Manager

Location : Bandon, OR

Job Type : FTE / Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Manager to lead and oversee laboratory operations. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care through strong leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership, direction, and administration of Clinical Laboratory Services.
  • Plan, develop, organize, and evaluate laboratory operations and performance.
  • Establish standards for cost control, quality, and safety, ensuring compliance with accepted Laboratory Medicine practices.
  • Monitor utilization patterns of laboratory services and advise staff on trends in clinical service needs.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and accrediting standards, with comprehensive knowledge of expectations during departmental surveys.
  • Oversee staffing, training, and supervision of laboratory personnel.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Requirements :

  • Doctoral degree in laboratory science.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of training in high complexity testing.
  • At least two (2) years of experience directing or supervising high complexity testing.
  • Successful completion of a National Certification Examination .
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a commitment to exceptional service.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Position Details :

  • Employment Type : Full-Time, Salary (~40 hours per week).
  • Compensation : $95,790 – $124,417 annually (commensurate with experience).
  • Benefits : Full employer-paid health, dental, vision, and basic life & AD&D insurance for employee-only coverage.
  • Staffing Model : 24-hour service with 6 techs and 4 lab tech assistants.
  • Start Date : ASAP.
