Technical Product Management

The primary role of the Technical Product Management function within the Global Data and AI Platform team is to define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the Data Analytics & AI platform product and capabilities. Works closely with customers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility.

Key responsibilities include the creation and oversight of high level Data and AI solutions roadmaps; understanding customer and stakeholder needs and opportunities; translating needs and opportunities for Engineering; managing conflicting business priorities; maintaining a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for Data and AI platform; and working closely with the development teams to ensure that product features and capabilities under development meets customer and stakeholder needs.
Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve the organizational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and / or customers.
Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
Manages professional employees and exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination, and other personnel actions.
Enforce global Data and AI safety, privacy, and security standards and policies, ensuring compliance with relevant international regulations and industry best practices for Data and AI. Proactively influence organizational adoption and adherence to evolving standards.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience Required :
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields
10+ years of Technical Product Management experience for a platform product in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with 3+ years in people management roles.
Extensive experience working and innovating on a centralized Data, Analytics, and AI / ML Platform supporting diverse applications and developers, analysts.
High degree of technical understanding to be able to closely collaborate with Engineers, data scientists, and Architects in both strategic and tactical discussions.
Good understanding of technologies and tools in Datalake, BI, Data Ingestion, Data Analytics, ML Models, and AI (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Kafka, dbt, trending AI / ML tools), and productivity tools like JIRA, Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences and work with cross-functional teams to drive real business impact.
Experience leading and raising the bar for product management teams
Good understanding and experience with regulatory compliance, like GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
