Security Professional Retail Mall Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Professional Retail Mall Unarmed Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail and mall environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for visitors and tenants. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and a people-first approach. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and reporting as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or requests.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to daily activities, incidents, and / or emergencies in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
