Tax Senior Position

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The position is an integral part of our tax team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory services for our diverse client base. This position requires strong client interaction skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, communicate effectively with clients and team members, and consistently deliver outstanding client service.

Key Objectives :

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Foster positive client relationships through clear communication and exceptional service.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation (Required)
  • CPA (Preferred)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a CPA firm with 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience using CCH (Axcess preferred), Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite and Intuit products (Preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and to inspire a team to drive results through efficiencies

    Strong verbal and written communication

    Able to provide positive feedback, constructive direction through proper coaching and mentoring

    Strong attention to detail and time management

    Ability to prioritize and assign tasks based on skill set of team

    High degree of decision making

    Moderate degree of independence

    Consistent communication with Partner, Client and team to ensure that desired results are timely, accurate perceived as positive in nature

    Job Type : Full-time

    Schedule : 9 : 00am 5 : 30pm Remote to Hybrid with increased hours for busy seasons

    Ability to commute / relocate : Columbia or Lexington, South Carolina - This position is initially remote; however, it will transition into a hybrid role once we establish an office in South Carolina.

    This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs.

    We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our dynamic team! This position offers a competitive salary range of $80K $110K annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
