    • Overview of the Cost Accountant role :

  • The Cost Accountant will monitor, analyze, and report on production, operational, and overhead costs.
  • Assist in financial planning by preparing cost forecasts and budget reports.
  • Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Identify and investigate cost discrepancies, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to optimize expenses and improve financial efficiency.
  • Evaluate costs and profitability of products, projects, and business units.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize cost structures.

    • Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accountant :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • 3+ years cost accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting skills
