Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering

Reports To :

Sr. Director, Operations

Location : Austin, Texas

Job Title / High-Level Position Summary : As the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, you will provide strategic leadership for the Manufacturing Engineering function, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and innovation. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, partner cross-functionally with senior leaders, and drive scalable processes that enable world-class product quality, efficiency, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Lead sustaining functions for CNC Programming and Machining, Clean and Sterile Pack, Coating department, Metal Finishing, and Distribution
• Maintain capacity planning models in all key processes
• Align departmental objectives with business priorities and track performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage resources and priorities across multiple projects to support production and new product launches.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable global regulations and standards.
• Partner with R&D, Operations, and leadership to integrate manufacturing input into product design and development.
• Drive process development, prototyping, validation testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes using lean principles and data-driven methods.
• Build and manage vendor / supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and scalability.
• Oversee departmental budgets, capital planning, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Champion Enovis' values and behaviors in every aspect of leadership and decision-making.
