The Applications Engineer Manager position delivers technical expertise for Performance Digital SOC device testing solution implementation to customers based on Advantest V93000 products and services. It provides support for both pre-sales and post-sales assessment of customer needs as well as quick implementation / execution of the solution. You'll work on cutting-edge technology, working side by side with our customers in close collaboration with R&D and marketing in a cross-functional, international environment. This is an ideal position for a software or electrical engineer with a strong test engineering background, requiring both in depth knowledge of the V93000 system, as well as strong software skills for writing test programs and tooling to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Technical Direction

Lead and mentor a team of applications engineers supporting Advantest V93000 Semiconductor Test Systems.

Serve as the technical lead for key customer accounts, particularly in High Performance Computing and AI sectors.

Ensure Advantest products and services are successfully integrated into customer environments at the system / solution level.

Analyze complex IC test requirements, offering expertise in performance optimization, test program development, and implementation strategies.

Coordinate with R&D, marketing, and global teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Build deep technical relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor and influencing their decision-making processes.
