Overview

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team! This is a UI / UX Design position. Candidates in this position shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications. In this role, the UI / UX designer shall be responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design.

Position Required Skills

Basic understanding using the Linux CLI

Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer

Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch

Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts

Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy

Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization

Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS

A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI / UX design artifacts

Position Desired Skills

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

Qualifications

An active TS / SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $175K - $250K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
