- Handle patient scheduling / appointments
- Gather new patient data; keep track of all patient referrals
- Disseminate information to patients; act as a go-between for patients and physicians
- Collect payments
- Conduct insurance verification
- Answer phones, act as a patient liaison, answer any questions from potential or current patients
- Answer and check clinic email; either respond to inquiry or direct to appropriate personnel
- Upon patient cancellation, emails or notes to scheduled therapist reason for cancellation and indicates if patient has rescheduled
- Telephones or texts patients to remind them of appointments
- Greets and directs all patients and visitors
- Fax reports to physicians; keep a log of incoming reports
- Update and keep track of company tracking forms / spreadsheets and logs.

Required Skills
High school diploma or GEDMust be authorized to work in the U.SValid driver's license and reliable transportationPrevious experience in similar position / medical practice highly preferredAble to effectively communicate with othersBasic computer skills including email navigation and downloading / uploading filesFamiliarity with principles of Excel; able to use Word and Instant MessengerDetail oriented; able to complete data entry quickly and preciselyEfficient data collectionGreat communicator and multitasker, detail-orientedPositive attitude, good work ethic, integrity and empathetic toward people that are in painExcellent at handling details, communicating and multitaskingGreat demeanor, strong integrity and compassionAdapts to changes in the work environment; manages completing demandsAble to cover at other locations if / when necessaryIs consistently at work on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Volunteers readily; Undertakes self-development activities; Seeks increased responsibilities; Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; Asks for and offers help when needed.
