Job Title

Key Accountabilities
Ensures the manufacture of completed units by overseeing activities such as assembly of components into subassemblies; mating or joining of structural assemblies (metallic and nonmetallic); installation of systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic) that are fastened with screws, bolts, rivets, solder, crimping or swaging, connectors, or adhesives; and testing with mechanical, electrical, and electronic test equipment.
Interfaces with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer acceptance.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Finishing / Processing, Assembly or Machining
5+ years of experience managing / supervising a team of 100 or more employees
5+ years leadership / management experience (industry or military)
5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
Prior management level experience reporting out to Senior Leadership on department production status
Prior budgetary responsibility or review experience for associated department P&L
Experience reviewing, delivering or monitoring production metrics
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Leading teams and driving route cause corrective actions (RCCA)
Ability to coach and develop team
Prior experience working with and leading multiple cross functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of experience in a leadership role
10 years of experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Chemical Finishing / Processing, Assembly or Machining
Prior SAP experience
Understanding of a manufacturing production atmosphere
Versatile manufacturing and machining experience
Understanding of supervising Union employees
Experience with aircraft maintenance or machining
Experience working in a 24 / 7 operations environment
