Cryptographic Engineer

A company is looking for a Cryptographic Engineer specializing in Bitcoin DeFi.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement cryptographic constructions and maintain cryptographic libraries

Translate academic research into production-ready systems and participate in cryptographic design discussions

Troubleshoot and optimize cryptographic code while ensuring security and performance

Required Qualifications

Typically a PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, Mathematics, or a related field

Proven experience in applied cryptographic engineering and academic publications

Proficiency in Rust and ideally some Haskell for cryptographic development

Solid mathematical foundation in cryptography, number theory, and probability

Experience with elliptic curve cryptography and cryptographic protocol design
