The role you'll contribute :

As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the supervision of a professional nurse to assist in the delivery of compassionate care to our elderly patients. Your responsibilities will include helping with daily living activities, maintaining a safe environment, and participating in patient care planning. We are committed to outstanding customer service and establishing respectful relationships with all individuals.

  • Provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
  • Document all procedures accurately and report any abnormalities promptly to the RN.
  • Contribute to nursing history assessments and assist in the care plan development.
  • Perform treatments and patient care that cater to the unique needs of our geriatric population.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate commitment to performance excellence.
  • Follow infection control policies, utilizing personal protective equipment effectively.
  • Show a strong desire to learn and enhance your skills within the team.
  • May perform Point of Care Testing with appropriate training and documentation.

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent Required.
  • One or more years of applicable PCT experience Required.
  • Experience with the behavioral geriatric population is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Certification Required.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification Required.
