Job Title : Community Maintenance Assistant

Reports To : Area Manager

Location : McCartney Residences at Lafayette College, Easton, PA

Compensation : $13.00 / hour for 15 hours / week for 14 weeks / semester (Fall : Sep 2-Dec 5; Spring : Jan 26-May 8 2026).

FLSA Status : Student Non-Exempt

Summary :

The Community Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Staff Members in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, including the grounds, amenities, and interior and exterior of the building.
• Complete the "turn" process (including painting and floor cleaning) in empty suites for move-in by new residents.
• Assist with accessing and removing tools, supplies, equipment, and other materials from the maintenance areas.
• Follow operating and safety policies and procedures and comply with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
• Complete paperwork and other documentation associated with work orders.
• Attend all staff meetings and training programs and participate in on-going training with the McCartney Residences staff as needed.

Work Hours

Fifteen hours per week in shifts Monday through Friday between 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm. Evening and weekend shifts may be available.
