As the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation, you'll be the driving force behind our sales growth, brand presence, and player engagement across the state. (Just a heads-up : employees here aren't considered state employees.)

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire our sales, marketing, and communications teams—helping them bring big, creative ideas to life.
- Work with leadership to launch new games, promotions, and special events that keep players excited.
- Keep an eye on how our advertising and promotions are performing and adjust when needed.
- Build partnerships with local businesses, community groups, and media outlets to expand our reach.
- Partner with the VP of Sales, VP of Marketing, and VP of Communications to make sure strategies are carried out effectively.
- Manage key vendor relationships, like our ad agency and instant ticket vendor.
- Hire, develop, and support staff so they have the tools and encouragement to succeed.
- Oversee budgets for campaigns, media buys, and marketing initiatives.
- Represent the Lottery in legislative, public, and community conversations with professionalism.
Qualifications
Ideally, you'll have 5 years in the lottery industry and 3 years leading teams . If your background shows you can thrive in this role, we'd still love to hear from you.Hold a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred) — or bring equivalent experience that demonstrates your ability to succeed in this role.Bring a track record of leading sales, marketing, or communications teams.Are confident managing large budgets and cross-functional projects.Know how to build and support high-performing teams.Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Are open to travel (sometimes overnight) to support statewide initiatives.Why You'll Love It
