What You Will Do As An Operations Supervisor :

Manage daily manufacturing and production operations to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

Develop a deep understanding of can components and manufacturing equipment.

Proficiency in SPC, basic quality management tools, and software.

Oversee quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all safety programs and plant policies are followed.

Mentor and motivate your workforce.

Manage resources, labor records, and warehouse product flow.

Collaborate across all levels of the plant to deliver results in a 24 / 7 industrial manufacturing environment.

Grow into a future operation or manufacturing supervisory role at other Silgan locations nationwide.

What You Bring :

Associate's degree or higher.

Supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, or plant operations.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to spend 40% or more of the time on the production floor and work flexible hours.

Talent to make public presentations in small and large group settings.

Desire to grow into larger operations or manufacturing management roles, including relocating to other plants across the country.
