Description : POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for oversight for assigned and specific programs provided by the Clinical department, including the selection, training and supervision of both professional and non-professional staff that are assigned under those specific programs. The clinical supervisor will be responsible for the full success of the programs in which they supervise. Assures compliance with assigned program rules and all regulations in which the services are provided under. As a member of the Leadership Team, assists with the development of the program budgets, organizational policy and other administrative initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In coordination with Clinical Director, interviews, selects, trains and supervises program staff under assigned programs. Monitors employee performance and completes monthly and annual evaluations. Works to resolve any performance issues or concerns.
• Provides oversight to client referrals, intake and admissions, assuring timely response to referral sources.
• Maintains positive relationships and open communication with referring agencies and others with whom the agency collaborates on behalf of clients. Resolves concerns involving admissions, treatment plans and behavior management with the referring agency and the resident’s parent or guardian.
• Participates in discharge decisions in order to assure appropriate planning, information sharing and the best interest of the resident.
• Oversees record keeping and reporting processes to insure that flow of written communication is current and effective.
• Assures that the program metrics and requirements are fulfilled and is up to date on contractual requirements.
• Assured compliance, and works to achieve performance goals of all assigned program goals
• Participates in required committees assigned by Clinical manager including but not limited to monthly clinical staffing's and leadership meeting.
• Responsible for all program reviews and the success of the programs key performance indicators.
• Responsible for program outreach and marketing to prospective referral agents / organization
• Ensure clinical needs of clients are met and helps assure program staff have a variety of clinical skills and applicable treatment modalities necessary for assigned programs
• Continuously monitors the clinical needs of current clients and develops innovative approaches to meeting those needs.
• Monitors direct service requirements of assigned program therapists to ensure targets are being met.
• Adheres to and follows all other required duties necessary and assigned by direct supervisor.

CARE & TCI

Hoyleton has adopted the CARE (Children and Residential Experience), developed by Cornell University, to guide our culture and practice. CARE is grounded in six core principles : Developmentally Focused, Family Involved, Relationship Based, Ecologically Oriented, Competence Centered, and Trauma Informed.

Completion of CARE and TCI training is an internal requirement for all staff and must be completed upon hire. Ongoing application of these principles is expected and essential to successful job performance.

Monthly refresher opportunities are provided. Employees who fall out of compliance may be required to retake the full course. Consistent participation and application of both CARE and TCI are essential to job performance.
