Job Title : Residential Electrical Journeyman

Location : Lewiston-Auburn Area

Employment Type : Full-Time

Reports To : Master Electrician / Electrical Supervisor

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential electrical systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in new and existing residential structures.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, panels, and fixtures in residential homes.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform effective, code-compliant repairs.

Ensure all work meets NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building code requirements.

Collaborate with contractors, homeowners, and team members to complete projects efficiently.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.

Train and supervise electrical apprentices when assigned.

Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications :

Current Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific).

Minimum 3–5 years of residential electrical experience .

In-depth knowledge of NEC and residential wiring standards.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work from ladders, scaffolds, and confined spaces as needed.

Stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
