Job Description

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Under the direction of the Medical Director and / or Section Head, the Clinical Specialist, the Manager, and the Radiologist, the MRI Technologist utilizes their specific modality to create diagnostic images while ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients. The role includes trauma and emergency room scanning, MRI exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and those receiving intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized MRI-guided procedures.
