Physical Therapist Role $2,300-$2,400 per weekAbout the RoleMedAdventures is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a school-based team supporting students with severe autism. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to help children develop mobility, strength, and motor planning skills that enhance their ability to participate in learning and daily school activities.ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized and group physical therapy sessions to students with severe autism.Develop and implement treatment plans focused on gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and sensory integration.Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.Adapt activities and interventions to support communication, behavior, and sensory needs.Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes according to school and state requirements.Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, providing input on physical therapy goals and progress.QualificationsCurrent state license as a Physical Therapist (PT).Previous experience working in pediatrics or school-based settings preferred.Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder, particularly severe autism.Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.Patience, creativity, and passion for making a difference in children's lives.Schedule & CompensationFull-time, school calendar schedule.Competitive pay and benefits package.Supportive team culture with professional development opportunities.Would you like guaranteed pay for an entire year?
