We are seeking a Registered Nurse in this position to direct, organize, develop, and evaluate all service delivery activities and daily operations of Promise Healthcare (PHC). This is a leadership position that is responsible for establishing and supervising patient care, supply procurement, coordinating maintenance, and vendor relationships. This position is hands-on and leads by example to motivate staff and deliver measurable, accountable, cost-effective results that further the mission of PHC.
- Under the direction of the Senior Director of Operations - Medical (SDOM) - has oversight of the operations of all clinic locations
- Working collaboratively with other leaders
- Establishes plans to develop and train staff, continuously improve processes, service and outcomes.
- Cultivate a strong culture of service excellence and teamwork
- Provide a strong day-to-day leadership presence and encourage an "open-door" policy among all staff
- Assess clinic roles to ensure team is working to its full scope
- Provide role clarity and develop career pathways in partnership with Human Resources
- Organize provider services and schedules at all medical clinics
- Provide direction for standardization of processes and outcomes across service lines
- Encourage staff to speak up and report incidents in a timely fashion
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures by standardizing services that assure quality and safety for both patients and staff.
- Identify, organize, and direct training and education materials for clinic staff.
- Supervises the medical and dental supervisor staff
- Fully functional in the use of our EHR - Nextgen
- Create a welcoming environment for patients.
- Collaborates with all service lines to improve primary care, dental, and behavioral health workflows.
- Participate in regular quality and process improvement meetings with other clinic leaders to ensure the highest level of business efficiency and compliance.
- Demonstrates adherence and support of PHC mission, vision, goals, policies, and procedures.
Other duties include but are not limited to :
Maintain and develop relationships with external organizations essential to clinic operationsManage vendor relationships.Promote change to keep organization workflows aligned with achieving strategic goals and organizational growth.Participate in conflict resolution with staff and patients when needed.Teach and coach patiently and with clarityWorks with facility leaders to monitor the impact of growth on the facility's existing space plan, and oversee facility expansion, improvement projects and major repairs or maintenance projects as required.Ensure day to day compliance with HIPAA and OSHA.Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to assure the delivery of high-quality primary and preventive health care services.Work with SDOM / CFO on staffing models to ensure the clinic is properly staffed based on patient volumes.Work closely with the Leadership team to ensure health center compliance with all regulatoryResponsible for operational functions to streamline and improve workflow efficiencies where needed, such as patient demographic data collection and integrity, patient flow, and patient scheduling.Assists the Senior Director of Operations and Clinical Supervisors with recruitment and retention of clinical staff.Maintains adherence to NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standardsQuality Improvement duties and responsibilities : a. Utilizes the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle. b. Reviews, investigates, and responds to complaints within the allowed time frame. c. Reviews, investigates, and responds to unusual events within the allowed time frame.In conjunction with other leaders, works to create a positive work environment and a winning team that is productive, creative, and talentedMonitors productivity against established goals.Assists the Clinical Supervisors with establishing monthly staff meetings and preparing the agendas and information to be shared.Oversee the VFC program and delegates daily responsibility to appropriately trained staff.Performs other duties as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily :
Excellent interpersonal and administrative management experienceMust have working knowledge of the operations and administration of an FQHC medical clinic, including patient care protocolsQuality control regulationsPolicies, procedures, billing and insuranceInventory control, etc.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to relate effectively with the dental department and other health center staff.Starting salary for this position : $65,000-$85,000
