Food & Beverage Manager Hilton Richmond Downtown | Richmond, VA About the Property Hilton Richmond Downtown is housed in a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of the city, blending modern amenities with Richmond's rich architectural charm. With multiple dining venues, banquet facilities, and steady corporate and leisure traffic, our Food & Beverage operations play a vital role in the hotel's success.### Position Overview The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant(s), bar, in-room dining, and banquet / events service. This leader ensures exceptional guest experiences, maintains brand standards, drives revenue, and supports a high-performing service culture through hands-on leadership and team development.### Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring high service and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Lead, train, and develop front-of-house F&B teams, including supervisors, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and Banquet Manager to ensure seamless coordination between culinary and service operations.
  • Manage labor, inventory, and cost controls to achieve budgeted profitability across all F&B departments.
  • Monitor guest feedback and respond promptly to opportunities for service recovery or improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, local health codes, alcohol regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with menu planning, seasonal promotions, and special events to drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Participate in forecasting, scheduling, and purchasing decisions to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor during peak periods to support staff and engage guests.### Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience in Food & Beverage within a hotel, upscale restaurant, or resort environment required.
  • Strong understanding of service standards, guest relations, and operational best practices.
  • Experience managing banquet or catering operations preferred.
  • Proven ability to train and motivate teams while maintaining a positive and professional workplace.
  • Financial acumen with exposure to budgeting, cost control, and P&L analysis.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
