JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth, manage client relationships, and generate new sales opportunities within the commercial flooring and lighting industry. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with experience in B2B sales, commercial interiors, and building materials. The candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts, managing key clients, and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue.

Role Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue in commercial flooring and lighting solutions.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, designers, contractors, developers, and business owners.

Identify and target new business opportunities in commercial interiors, office spaces, retail, and architectural projects.

Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultations tailored to client needs.

Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to guide purchasing decisions.

Manage the full sales cycle, from Cold calling to lead generation to closing deals and post-sale client support.

Attend sales meetings and training sessions, both in-person and virtually.

Achieve a minimum monthly sales target through self-generated leads and referrals.

Ensure high-quality customer service, addressing inquiries and managing client expectations. Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments. Schedule and attend evening and weekend client appointments as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years in sales, preferably in commercial interiors, flooring, or lighting
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a high-performance, commission-driven environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients. -Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking leads and sales progress, (Measure Square, Microsoft Office Suite, Shopify, QuickBooks is a plus).
  • Ability to self-generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and meet deadlines.
