Vanderbilt Health is excited to invite an acute care or general surgeon to join our growing regional practice at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in beautiful Lebanon, Tennessee, just 25 miles east of downtown Nashville.

• Be part of a collaborative team of three surgeons at our 245-bed acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center .
• Enjoy a balanced mix of acute care surgery and elective general surgery with a dedicated First Assist and experienced OR staff.
• Work a manageable schedule covering 16 shifts per month , with evenly shared days, nights, and holidays.
• Participate in an outpatient clinic supported by dedicated APP staff.
• Benefit from excellent support from colleagues and leadership, fostering strong relationships with hospital medicine and other subspecialties.
• Access extensive resources through the larger VUMC Surgery Section, including case conferences, education, and mentorship.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate MD / DO with board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and / or Acute Care Surgery . A commitment to our values of innovation, collaboration, and quality is essential.
