Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist that will serve as a trusted advisor to the hiring managers on talent acquisition to support business objectives and business relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Act as Customer Relationship Manager for assigned business groups
- Develop and update staffing priorities
- Design and implement sourcing initiatives to attract and engage top-tier talent aligned with organizational goals
- Conduct weekly customer relationship meetings and update staffing reports
- Source and staff open positions, recruit diverse candidates
- Work with hiring managers on recruitment and selection plans
- Negotiate and manage external recruiting resources
- Conduct reference checks and establish employment offers
- Develop talent sourcing approaches (direct recruiting, job fairs, internet recruiting)
- Refer team members to appropriate headquarters services (benefits, issue resolution, drug and alcohol-free program)
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related fieldMinimum seven years recruiting / HR experience or combination of higher education and experienceDemonstrate strong willingness to learn the business and develop deep understanding of each role in order to effectively identify and attract top-tier talentAbility to recommend hiring decisions to upper managementProficiency in PC and widely used software packages (Excel, MS Word, HRIS / database)Active listening skills and effective communication, openness to diverse input and feedbackAbility to travel up to 25%A few benefits offered include : (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)

(Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
