Senior Estimator

Salt Lake City, UT (On-site)

Westates Construction Company

Westates Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to support our project management team across multifamily, single-family, office, and industrial projects. This role reports to the Director of Construction and plays a key part in developing accurate budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring financial performance across all projects.

What Youll Do

Prepare detailed budgets, cost estimates, and timelines for new and ongoing projects
Track and analyze budget performance and highlight areas for improvement
Identify and qualify new vendors / subcontractors to reduce costs and improve reliability
Review unit costs and bid data to drive consistency and savings
Resolve PO and billing issues with vendors and subs
Provide analytical and estimating support to the Head of Construction as needed

What You Bring

5+ years of estimating experience (preferably experience in Commercial Multifamily Home)

Strong Excel skills ; experience with BuilderMT and Sage is a plus

In-depth understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
