About The Role

Location : 1500 Yosemite Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035

As an Instructional Aide at Merryhill School, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Under the direction of the teacher or principal, you'll supervise students, provide academic and emotional support, and assist in implementing educational activities.

You will also :

  • Support the school's learning environment by assisting in classroom instruction and activities
  • Facilitate appropriate daily routines and learning experiences for children
  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment
  • Monitor and supervise students to ensure their safety
  • Organize and maintain classroom materials and cleanliness, including wiping surfaces and tidying learning areas
  • Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional training sessions

    • What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Maturity and emotional stability
  • Stamina to engage positively with students throughout the school day
  • Patient, flexible, dependable, and cooperative attitude
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to accept supervision and implement feedback constructively
  • Recent teaching or classroom support experience is a plus
