Welders’ specific responsibilities may vary depending on the industry they work in and how much experience they have, but they typically include the following

Requirements : Responsibilities

  • Operate hand grinders as needed
  • Ability to use basic fabricating tools
  • Ensure all processes are carried out with the required use of safety control and PPE
  • Knowledge of a variety of hand tools and welding equipment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and design
  • Ability to add subtract and divide into all units of measures
  • Follow all safety rules and practices and adhere to safety protocols
  • Address welding issues
  • Clean / finish welded surfaces
  • Perform welding tasks using Mig, Tig, and stick
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass a welder test
  • Must have understanding of MIG welding
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
  • 2-year experience MIG Welding in Production setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a cooperative manner to support a team environment

    • Work Schedule

    Monday - Thursday

    10hr shifts

    6am-4 : 30pm (days)

    4 : 30pm-3 : 00am (nights)
