About this Opportunity :

This position will safely and effectively operate all machinery and equipment in the Assembly, CNC, and Finishing department, while adhering to all documented instructions and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate various Machining, Assembly, Printing and Finishing Machines and Equipment per

M.O.I.'s. Machines such as, Presses, Milling Machines, Laser Welders, Laser Cutters, Spot Welders, Printers, Tweaking Tools etc...

Perform gauging and visual inspections per M.O.I.'s.

Fill out required paperwork (Followers, Inspection Ticket, etc.).

Maintain on organized, clean and safe work environment and follow 6S standards.

Properly follow all safety procedures and policies. Use correct P.P.E.

Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor. May be assigned to work in other departments.

Requirements :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. High School, or Technical School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience or training required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as needed basis.
