We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Buyer to manage procurement activities in our dynamic electronics OEM environment in Camarillo. The successful candidate will be a results-driven professional capable of managing a complex supply chain with a focus on cost reduction, quality, and on-time delivery.

Core Responsibilities :
- Purchasing & Expediting : Execute daily procurement functions, including creating and managing purchase orders for electronic components, PCBs, and fabricated metal parts. Expedite and track orders to prevent production delays.
- Negotiation & Contracts : Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and long-term contracts with a diverse supplier base.
- Supplier & Inventory Management : Maintain and build strong supplier relationships. Monitor inventory levels and manage consignment programs to optimize stock levels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with engineering for component alternatives, with accounting to resolve invoicing issues, and with MRB for supplier returns (RMAs).
- Compliance & Improvement : Participate in ISO audits and review performance metrics (KPIs) to recommend process improvements.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and training to less-experienced buyers.
Required Skills and Experience :
At least 5 years of electronics purchasing experience within the last 7 years.Expertise in procurement for electronic components (BGAs, Fets, power devices, transformers, etc.), PCBs, and metal fabrication.Demonstrated ability to negotiate advantageous supplier contracts.Solid experience performing market analysis to inform purchasing decisions.Extensive experience with inventory management and control.Proven ability to work independently.Experience supporting ISO audits and KPI reviews.Proficiency with MRP / ERP software and the Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with consignment programs is a plus.
