Overview

Base pay range : $28.05 / hr - $35.06 / hr

Join a Global Leader in Workforce Solutions - Net2Source Inc. This is a 1st shift position.

The incumbent will primarily disassemble, repair and re-assemble gas turbine engines to meet customer requirements and support other component repairs in the shop.

Responsibilities

  • Review technical documents and disassemble, repair and assemble gas turbine engines which may include re-reengining for reassembly.
  • Repair and fabrication of gas turbine engine parts and tools by sanding, grit blasting, deburring ends of stock, blending, routing welds, removing honeycombs, brazing, and cleaning parts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on travelers and records; use gauges and tools to determine specified tolerances; observe all Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to increase and expand skill set within the facility, multi-skill and move to other areas of operation to support business goals and objectives.
  • Understand and adhere to all Quality Assurance policies and procedures and EHS requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Engine MRO experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder per FAA requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret service repair manuals and technical publications to determine work procedures.
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools including torque wrenches, transducers, multipliers, dial indicators, micrometers, scales, and other precision instrumentation.
  • Ability to work and maneuver around engines to fulfill job requirements.
  • Qualified as an Engine Mechanic I (internal criteria).
  • Experience working with LM2500, LM6000, LMS100 or other aero-derivative gas turbine engines or packages is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.
  • Attendance and punctuality.
