  • Location : Washington, DC 20010 (prime location for DC nursing jobs)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n
  • Start Date : November 24, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 23, 2026\n
  • Shifts : 3x12-hour shifts per week (Day : 06 : 30-19 : 00 or Evening : 11 : 00-23 : 30)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,130 - $2,280\n
  • On-Call / Weekend : 6 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule; one weekend or holiday per 6-week schedule\n
  • Parking : On-campus parking available\n

    • \n\nCVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active DC RN license (pending accepted if applied; must have license prior to start)\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience, including circulating and Level 1 trauma experience\n
  • Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
  • Ability to float to general surgery if no cardiac cases\n
  • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred\n
  • Two supervisor references required\n

    • \n\nCVOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Circulate and assist in complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, LVAD, transplants, and endovascular cases\n
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level 1 trauma environment\n
  • Float to general surgery as needed\n
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for weekends or holidays as scheduled\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, radiology, pharmacy, and support staff\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner (preferred)\n
  • Comply with all facility policies, vaccination requirements, and safety protocols\n
