Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Social Worker supporting K-12 students across area schools. This contract role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on youth development and well-being throughout the full school year.

Location : Olympia, WA and surrounding areas

Schedule : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Student Age Range : Kindergarten through 12th grade

Contract Duration : Full school year

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide social work services to students, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student success and well-being
  • Develop individualized care plans addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Facilitate group and individual sessions to promote social skills, resilience, and academic engagement
  • Maintain detailed documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Social Worker in a school setting with K-12 populations
  • Strong understanding of child development, mental health challenges, and educational environments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing a caseload efficiently
  • Relevant licensure or certification as required by state regulations
